My Review of GEO-82
So, is it worth it to visit an Adults Only Bar in the middle of EPCOT when you don’t drink alcohol? Here’s my honest review of the new GEO-82 Lounge in EPCOT.
On my recent solo trip to Walt Disney World I was able to grab a reservation for the new Lounge in EPCOT - GEO-82. This lounge is located at the base of Spaceship Earth and serves specialty cocktails and light bites to the 21+ crowd.
I was a little worried about visiting because I don’t drink alcohol and there are only two Zero-Proof mocktails on the menu - neither of which sounded like something I would want to drink. However I was really intrigued by the space and just needed to check it out for myself and spoiler alert - I’m so glad I did.
This lounge is a beautiful space overlooking the park right at the base of Spaceship Earth. The decor reflects nods to the grand and miraculous geodesic sphere throughout. It’s impressive and elevated and while I was dripping with sweat from walking around the park, I didn’t feel out of place either. Elevated but comfortable would be how I’d describe the space.
The Funghi Flatbread. Delicious, I’ll take 12.
As for the menu you will find a small offering of food. I went with the Funghi Flatbread which was delicious. There are a large variety of specialty cocktails which you won’t find anywhere else as well as beers, wines and hand-selected bourbons that are exclusive to GEO-82. The lounge staff is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and my bartender was very helpful while I was trying to decide between the two mocktails on the menu.
A Walk Through The Garden mocktail. Highly recommended.
I went with A Walk Through the Garden which featured Seedlip Garden, Basil, Fennel, Lemon, orange and celery bitters and bubbles. I was not thinking I would like this at all, but he assured me it was refreshing and I ended up LOVING it.
That’s the view behind me. It’s a lot nicer in person.
I was seated at the bar facing away from the view, but there is a variety of seating that faces the windows. GEO-82 also offers a separate Fireworks Experience for $180 per person and includes light bites and champagne.
Overall I had a wonderful break here during my park day and can definitely see coming back sometime. If you’re traveling without kids I would highly recommend it for a little break in your day.
